England desperate to draw Ashes
England will be desperate to make amends and draw the Ashes after having already lost the Urn to Australia. However, things look bleak for the hosts as their batsmen are struggling to match-up to Steve Smith and Co’s performances. It will be an uphill task for the English to overhaul an ecstatic Australian side.
Weaknesses: Form of batsmen
Australia must be roaring after regaining the Ashes in England for the first time since 2001. They will be eager to seal the series at the Oval. ENG vs AUS 5th Ashes Test Dream 11 Predictions Today 🧠
Read our Dream 11 team suggestions and expert tips to find out which player you should include in your Dream11 team for today’s match:
🧤 Wicket Keeper: Although all wicket-keepers have under-performed in this series, Jos Buttler and Matthew Wade have looked the best out of them. Tim Paine scored a half-century in the last test and can be a good option as well.
🏏 Batsmen: Steve Smith is in some purple -patch and it is a no-brainer to pick him. Rory Burns has been the best English batsman so far and is another must-have player in your Dream 11 team for today’s match. Joe Denly scored a 50 in the last game and looked decent with the bat.
😎 All Rounders: Ben Stokes and Marnus Labuschagne warrant definite spots in the XI based on their performances in the Ashes so far.
🧶 Bowlers: Jofra Archer missed out on wickets in the last match and will be rearing to come back stronger at the Oval. Pat Cummins has been the bowler of the Ashes so far. Mitchell Starc has only played 1 test in this Ashes and is comparatively fresher than the rest of the fast bowlers. Broad has been very impressive for England with the new ball. Nathan Lyon hasn’t had much to do in this series but he can be a good pick for your Dream11 Grand League Team.
