Welcome to We know Cricket’s AFG vs IRE Dream11 Team, Predictions, Match preview, and Team news. The 5th ODI will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun, Uttarakhand on Sunday at 1:00 pm local time.
After being 81-6 in the 4th ODI and posting a respectable score of 223, Afghanistan showed tremendous tenacity and beat the Irish by a massive 109 runs. The comeback was led by Afghan veterans Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan, as both of them got past their 50 and were the highest scorers in the game.
Aftab Alam was the pick of the bowler, whose 25-4 in his 8 overs made sure that the Irish were all out on a meager 114 in 35.3 overs.
Afghanistan now leads the series 2-1. All eyes will be on Paul Stirling as the 5th ODI is the last chance for the Irish man to draw the series.

It has been tough competition between the two sides over the years. However, Afghanistan has clearly out performed Porterfield’s men in 2019.

AFG vs IRE 5th ODI: Probable 11 and Team News
Mohammed Shahzad is expected to replace Ali Khil at the top while Noor Ali Zadran could make way for Shenwari.
Possible XI: Shahzad (WK), Zazai, Shah, Shahidi, Afghan(C), Nabi, Najibullah, Naib, Rashid, Mujeeb and Dawlat.
No change expected from the Irish side as Porterfield looked good before getting out to Alam in the 4th ODI. His return to form just might be x-factor they need to level the series.
Possible XI: Porterfield (C), Stirling, Balbirnie, Simi, Kevin, Dockrell, Poynter(WK), McBrine, Murtagh, Cameron, and Rankin.
AFG vs IRE Dream11 Tips and Suggestions:
Wicket-keeper: Mohammad Shahzad should be back to the side following a poor performance from his replacement Ikram Ali Khil. Alternatively, Poynter has been decent throughout the tournament even though hasn’t had much opportunity to bat. He’s also a good pick.
Batsmen: As we all have seen in the T20s, Hazratullah Zazai and Paul Stirling can both be destructive. Andy Balbirnie’sis incredible century in the 3rd ODI makes him another tempting option.
All-rounders: Plenty of choices available in the All-rounders department. M. Nabi has always been our go-to choice, although the likes of Simi Singh, Dockrell, McBrine, Kevin’oBrien- all make the all-rounder section a bit crowded and difficult to choose from.
Bowlers: Rankin has been performing well for the Irish along with their spin trio of McBrine, Dockrell, and Singh. Rashid Khan has been surprisingly out-of-form, while Mujeeb has been on his usual best. Pick 2 spinners and a pacer, and can’t believe we are saying this but- you can keep Rashid out of the squad if you want!
Dream11 Team Suggestion #1:
Poynter (wk), P. Stirling, A.Balbirnie, Ashgar Afghan, H. Zazai, M. Nabi, G. Naib, George Dockrell, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rahman, A.Mcbrine
Captain – Paul Stirling, Andrew Balbirnie, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi
Vice-Captain – Hazratullah Zazai, Dockrell, Mujeeb ur Rahman
Dream11 Team Suggestion #2:
Poynter(WK), P. Stirling, A.Balbirnie, R. Shah, H. Shahidi, M. Nabi, George Dockrell, A. McBrine, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rahman, A. Alam
Captain – Paul Stirling, Andrew Balbirnie, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Rahmat Shah.
Vice-Captain – Shahidi, Dockrell, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Dockrell, Alam
