Match Preview: Must-Win for Both Teams
Guys, we have no idea how this happened but RCB is not at the bottom of the table. And with top-notch players like Buttler, Smith, Turner, Archer, Stokes, Gopal, Samson, and Rahane, Rajasthan Royals are the last on the table. With only 3 wins in 10 matches, things really haven’t gone their way this season.
They have an explosive top-order, a reliable middle-order, more than decent finishers, and good bowling attack and yet they have managed to lose the majority of their games. They will soon lose all their firepower as players like Smith, Turner (who now has 5 consecutive ducks in his last 5 innings), Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer will leave to prepare for the forthcoming world cup.
Talking of disappointing, the Kolkata Knight Riders have not lived up to the hype either, especially the kind of waves Andre Russell has made in the tournament. Russell’s knocks of 65 off 25 balls, 45 off 21, and 50 not out off 44 have all resulted in losses. A big problem with KKR is their inconsistency. All was fine until Karthik’s men kept losing one after the other and after 5 consecutive losses, they found themselves in a gut-wrenching situation. We have said it time and time again that they need to bring Shubman Gill up the order as he’s not a finisher and his batting chops are being wasted down the order.
WeKnowcricket’s Hot Take 🔥
Seeing the strength in the KKR camp, it’s a shame that they are where they are in the points table. Andre Russell has not only been one of the leading run scorers but has also taken the most wickets (19) for KKR. The 2nd highest wicket-taker in the KKR camp is Narine with 15 wickets which goes to show you how the bowling department has performed this season. The spin trio of Narine, Kuldeep, and Chawla– which has always been their strengths- haven’t really fired. Being quality spinners, you cannot just sit one of them out and replace them. Karthik had to put his faith in them and hope they find form but it might be just a tad late for KKR. Still, with KXIP, RR, RCB all struggling to make their mark, KKR fancy a chance to make the playoffs.
With the race for the semis in full flow, it’d be interesting to see who gets the upper hand tonight and gets one step closer to that prestigious semi final spot! Let’s see which players you should have and which ones to avoid in your Dream 11 Teams.

RR vs KKR 2019 Dream11 Team & Suggestions:
Wicket-keeper: With an average of 16, Karthik doesn’t really deserve a spot in your Dream 11 squad and thus, Samson should be your number 1 pick.
Batsmen: After his blistering century, Rahane gets an automatic seat in our Dream11 side. Uthappa was rested and Rinku Singh took his place and performed decently. Smith has hit back to back half centuries and should be included in your Dream 11 squad. Add Rana, Tripathi or Livingstone (if he plays) to complete the batting order.
All-rounders: Ben Stokes, Narine, and Andre Russel are the common picks. Hoever, Parag and Binny have done surprisingly well and you can replace Stokes with any one of them.
Bowlers: Gopal and Archer have been the pick of the bowlers for RR, especially Gopal. KKR’s bowling has been weak but since you have to complete the quota of 3 bowler, we would go with Piyush Chawla as our 3rd and final bowler in our Dream 11 side.
Captain & Vice Captain: Russel, Narine, Samson, Rahane, Smith- all make great choices.
RR vs KKR 2019 Dream11 Team Suggestion #1:
Samson (wk), Lynn, Rana, Gill, Smith, Narine, Russell, Stokes,Chawla, Gopal, Archer

RR vs KKR 2019 Dream11 Team Suggestion #2:
Karthik (wk), Lynn, Rinku, Rahane, Smith, Narine, Russell, Parag, Kuldeep, Gopal, Archer.
Captain: Russell VC: Gopal
